Electronic Health Records (EHR) are an increasingly common medium for capturing healthcare data in the electronic age. Both President Obama and former President Bush have publicly called for universal adoption of an EHR for every American and an aggressive timeline and budget have been set. Many companies have researched, developed, and deployed EHR’s for use in both the inpatient and outpatient care settings. Very few, however, have made the leap to developing an EHR specifically designed to supplement the education of those health professional students who will use EHR’s in their daily practices upon graduation.
